I work with Wacom tablet in Photoshop, it is possible to customize pen buttons for Photoshop or any other applications by Wacom preferences settings, what I wish to see, is to be able to customize pen buttons for every tools in Photoshop not only for the entire Photoshop at once, may be inside tools option bar. if it can be happen I can use for example the pen button for panning when I'm selected the zoom tool or define it as shift key when I'm selected selection tool ....
thanks

Photoshop has no access to Wacom's driver customization - so Photoshop cannot provide those controls.

What a pitty wish to see more cooperation with Wacom and other pen and tablet producers like microsoft surface with photoshop. Pens are very powerfull tools and will combine the natural simplicity of using pen with powerfull digital editing environment. Pens are becoming more and more popular with the advent of surface pro, surface book and new ipad. The ability to work directly on the screen without switching to keybord or mouse or tablet keys and dials make the experiance of editing very simple and enjoyable. I think Adobe should consider to redesign their products user interfaces to benefit more of touch display and pen.

the new modifier keys as a tools bar is helpful for touch devices like surface pro, it can be a good idea to be customizable, like to add or delete more keys like space bar, Z or other short cut keys. can be useful for example during selection or painting command, hold Z or space bar key to zoom or pan temporary by dragging pen on screen and let them released by another click on them. may be adobe has better ideas to reduce use of keyboard in such touch devices. These powerful touch devices can be very excellent tool for photo editing or art working, I think more controls can be added to stylus matching with Adobe products, why not Adobe make its own stylus for surface pro and iPad pro, or even make Adobe touch tablet or notebook. Photoshop, Illustrator and premier each alone dictates which hardware is suitable to buy, Microsoft and Apple advertisements, show Photoshop on their products screen to convince artists they are the best hardware they can have to be more productive. my daughter study fashion design, they still use paper and pen and pencils, because they are so natural that they don't need to think how to use many controls on a digital device and can just concentrate on their work and creativity. I think the reason is the weak relation between software and hardware design. the technology exist now, very good touch screens with powerful engines at behind ( thin and light weight with good battery) and powerful software like Photoshop, but they are not designed to work very natural with each other. all Adobe products are designed originally for non touch devices, you are trying to modify them for touch devices, but may be the best way is to redesign from scratch for touch screen and stylus.
Thanks
