In cinematography they use live images and "focus peak" to see where the sharpness in the image is located. This would be a great feature in photoshop and Lightroom.

For example: You can show the blown out areas in red in the highlight. Blue for the shadow parts of your picture. Wouldn't it be nice to flick a switch and see in green where all your sharpness of the image is located? Much like the same thing as focus peaking. Not sure if this is possible through algorithms but Adobe seems to be good at that.

So yeah, instead of zooming in on the image and looking around where the sharpness is located, flicking a switch to see it in a glance the see it all in full picture on your screen with have to zoom in. That would be nice i'd say.
