having moved to lightroom 3._ from 2.7, in the develop module, what has happened to the 'lens correction' vignette (pre crop) feature? Is it no longer required? Additionally is there a way to 'export' the identity plate I had set up in preceding versions of LR?

Lens vignette corrections are now in the Lens Corrections panel, under the Manual tab.

Matt,

Are we talking about a graphical identity plate or a text-based identity plate?

If memory serves, identity plates (text-based) are stored within the catalog itself and are not easy to get at save by exporting or importing a catalog (I have never tested this).

Graphical identity plates are just a file. I have a folder called ID Plates in my C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Lightroom directory where I store them and can access them.
