Viewing Photos in Full Screen Mode Photoshop CC on External Monitor Causing Colour Shift

The problem is this: when viewing photos on my external monitor in Photoshop CC, switching to full screen mode causes a shift in the colours. This shift makes all the colours over-saturated and horrible!

This problem only manifested itself a few weeks ago (10th June) before that I had never encountered it at all.  I have posted on here previously and on Photoshop Family but so far I have not received any suggestions that were able to resolve the issue.

Just to outline my hardware, OS and software: MacBook Pro Late 2013 with OS 10.11.5, Eizo CX240-CN external monitor. I calibrate my laptop using the i1Profiler software with the i1 Display Pro tool. For my external monitor I use the same tool but with ColorNavigator 6 software. I subscribe to Adobe CC and have all the software up-to-date.

Now the other interesting thing is that when I use Capture One Pro 9 or when I use Adobe Lightroom I have my large viewer on the Eizo and on full screen there is no shift in colour at all.

I have just recalibrated my external monitor using a new target profile with gamma selected (instead of LUTS) and version 2.2 as suggested by another user. Unfortunately this has not resolved the problem.

Please can someone advise on what to do to resolve this problem?

Thank you.

Hallo Dom, i experienced the same problem today after updating a test version of Photoshop CC (i was working with CS6 before and had no issues like this). MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Early 2013) with 10.11.6. Did you find out how to solve this? It also happens after trying to enable the OpenCL or graphic processor which was recommended in posts from a few years ago when this happened with the CS5 version.
