Lightroom Classic CC: Videos not rendering

Hi there!

I have a problem rendering videos from Lightroom Classic CC. In earlier versions (~ 2017?) it still was possible, but for several updates of LR the video just gets stuck from the moment it starts rendering (progress-bar shows but does not fill at all).

What can I do to resolve this?

If anyone has technical advice, it would help a lot (have to render some videos for a client soon...)

x, s

Mh ... no responses yet ;(

Maybe I can tell what I've done already:

a) re-installed Quicktime-components (no difference)
b) updated Lightroom (several times, the problem is consistent for some versions by now)
c) clearing the config.lua file (in the root of lightroom presets folder) and updating it with:
Features.disableGlobalTaskManager = true   (did that because of another problem, but didn't help with the video-rendering)

Any leads what I could check? Who I could contact?

I'd really like to render some videos again ...

Thanks a lot, S

You haven't mentioned resetting your preferences:

A Preference File will survive a Lightroom uninstall/reinstall. Sometimes weird behavior is corrected/cured by resetting the preferences.

Reset Procedure:

1. Close Lightroom.
2. Hold down [Alt/Opt]+[Shift] while restarting Lightroom.
3. Overwrite the Preferences when prompted by the dialog.
4. Close Lightroom.
5. Restart Lightroom.

Does the behavior continue after resetting the preferences?
