Lightroom Classic: Videos missing from catalog and unable to synchronize folder or import

Hi,

I've a strange issue/bug with LR classic v 9.0 on macOS: videos missing and unable to import them.


  • I noticed some videos have been removed from my catalog. This might have happened a long time ago, but it doesn't really matter...

  • When I do "Synchronize folder", is unable to find anything:

  • despite finding the videos when asked to "show in finder":


This happens to at least two folder, I haven't been looking for similar issues yet.

Hi Antoine,

Thanks for taking out your valuable time to report this.
We don't have AVI file support on Lr Classic for Mac. The files won't import on Mac. However, it should work fine on a Windows machine.

Don’t have AVI support???? Are you kidding me? That’s one of the most standard formats out there!

This does not explains why it was supported and not anymore.

This does, however, explains why they were in my catalog but why I can’t sync them anymore.

Very disappointing, again!
