I've created a collection in Lr Classic CC 8.2. In this collection I have 223 photos and 3 videos. I've synced this collection with Lr CC. When i open this collection in Lr CC or in Lr web i can only see the photos, not the videos. Could you please help me understand why the video files are not being synchronized? Thanks! Martin

Believe it or not, that's how Adobe have designed it.

If you want these videos to be in LRCC or LrWeb, I find the best way is to remove them from Classic, then import copies into LRCC or LrWeb. When these copies arrive in Classic, go into Explorer/Finder and delete the files. Back in Classic, they will now be missing, so point them to where the original videos are located.

That fixes existing videos. For new ones, just import videos separately using LRCC or LrWeb.

Thanks for the prompt answer, John! that's exactly what I did as workaround, but expecting that there is a more correect way to do it... well it takes more time, but at least it can be done :)  thanks a lot for the support, I really appreciate it. Big hug from Argentina!

I changed your post to an "idea" (feature request). When LR CC was first released, Adobe clearly indicated they had no intention of providing further improvements to sync from Classic to CC, but if enough people complain (and many have), they might change their mind before the next ice age.

Sounds like a plan! I don’t understand why a company like adobe with so many users asking for improvements they are so slow in developing tools like Lr that was the king of raw development and now they are lossing gained ground due to their lack of initiatives.... I hope thei can realize soon that they need to move forward much quickly! Thanks again, John!
