Photoshop 2020: Video not rendering as texture/surface of 3D object

Dear community I found that video (mp4 file) is not rendering as texture/surface of 3D object in Photoshop 2020. I have used this feature many times before in other versions of Photoshop and for some reason is not working in PS 2020. The object applies only the image of the first video frame and it doesn't change it along the timelime. The same image appears stactic (as a still image, not a video) when I fully render it as well. I have reinstalled Photoshop, I have even reinstalled my whole Mac because of this - being trying to solve it for a month now with no luck. Is anyone having the same problem? Can you help me?

Hi Margarida,
I'm sorry you're Photoshop experience is not going well.  I have not heard of other customers experiencing this problem, but perhaps you found an issue with our new compositing engine.  If you try to enable Preferences -> Performance -> Legacy Compositing, does that resolve your issue?

Sincerely,
Andrew

Hi Andrew, thank you for your reply. Yes, I have enabled Legacy Compositing and the problem remains. I have also found someone else with the same problem in the Adobe Community Forum. It is a bug and I have done all the troubleshooting I could do from reading the Help docs and replies in forums including giving PS2020 full access to my drive. I truly don't know what else I could do and I have been working on this problem for so long...

Hi Margarida,
I'm sorry that Legacy Compositing did not resolve the issue.  Could share the link of the other forum you're referring to?

Thanks for sharing this Margarida.  As I am looking into other 3D Layer related problems, by any chance is your Ps language set something other than English?  If so, can you try setting it to English and see if this temporarily resolves your issue?

Hi Andrew

My language settings are in English on my computer and all its software. If you have any other tips that might solve the problem please let me know. Thank you, Margarida
