Situation: I appreciate the sliders, yet find the adjustments rather coarse in that the finest changes are impossible to make accurately d/t mouse jitter. It is possible to type in the numbers manually, but then one loses the ability to easily move back and forth.
Proposal: Create a secondary fine-adjustment mechanism, like the vernier on a micrometer. For example, holding down the left mouse button make coarse adjustments as now, holding down the right mouse button simultaneously (or shift+left mouse) make 1/10th as coarse changes. For another example, when a slider is activated, pop up a parallel slider next to primary slider to which one can move the cursor. (Obviously, there are a number of gestures that could be used.)
