Vector Pen tool: Shape/Path/Pixel as Textlabeled buttons/icons instead of dropdowlist

Probably already mentioned: Instead of having this dropdownlist shape/path/pixel for the Pen tool (which is contraproductive) have three labeled buttons instead. This combines fast workflow with clear info about what "mode" you are in. Preferable with the text label "Pen mode:" in front of them. There are plenty of space on the bar. Use it!

Same goes for some of the other, like combination, add/subtrack and algnment. Why do you want to hide those under dropdowns. Its makes the workflow so much slower on the stuff you can't use shortcuts on. And it makes it also harder to understand. If the space are saved for new feature, allright but otherwise use the space and much you can for a minimal display requirement.

We used to have them as icons, and users got confused about which mode they were working in.

Changing them to a dropdown with text labels for the mode has reduced that confusion.

And no, we're out of space on most of the vector tool option bars (that's why stuff is so cramped on those options bars). Remember that we also have to work with larger fonts, and in many languages.
