photoshop - Vanishing Point not working properly

When I attempt to paste an image into Vanishing Point in Photoshop, the image is only appearing in the upper left corner of the selection (it only fills 1/4 of the selection). When I attempt to use the Transform tool, the corner nodes still don't align with the image. I've changed the settings, I've changed the size of the copied image, I've reset my default settings on startup, my graphic design teacher looked at it and has no idea how to solve it. I'm using Photoshop CC version 14.1.2 x64 as a trial run. My operating system is OS X version 10.8.5. I'd appreciate help.

I have this same problem. Have had for months. Finally sick enough of it to look it up. Glad to see I'm not alone, but disappointed to see no one has a solution after 7 months! I can open my same files in PS CS6 and it works fine. But with PS CC, the art is 1/4 the size of the selection area in the upper left corner and it goes all screwy when you drag it into the vanishing point window.

Nope. Never heard from anyone and I've never solved it. Guess I've just gotten used to it. Just like opening PSDs since I last upgraded results in what looks like a blank screen until you enlarge the little spec in the center into something big enough to work on. (It seems to open files at a default .4% for some reason (!) I have a whole list of screwy behavior since CC 2014 came out. Like PS refuses to open EPS files. (Can't "parse" the post script.) Likewise, Illustrator refuses to make EPS files. (!)

At least we're all being driven nuts!
