Lightroom/Camera Raw: V5 DeHaze green color cast

I've been trying the DeHaze adjustment in the latest Process version 5, but it's producing a horrible green cast on skies.

Here's some examples:

Screenshot 1 is a base settings image:

Screenshot 2 has just DeHaze applied using Process version 4:

Screenshot 3 has DeHaze applied using Process version 5:

I have tried this on a variety of Raw images (ORF, RW2, RAF and NEF), and found that this only happens if I use Camera "xxxx" color profiles. If I use an Adobe profile it's OK.

However, this is a bit of a shame as I don't like the Adobe profiles, as they boost some colours too much (browns are far too saturated) and leave a somewhat un-natural appearance. On the Nikon Raws I prefer the Camera Neutral profile, but used with DeHaze it's unusable with Version 5 processing.

Do the Camera profiles need updating perhaps?

(using Lightroom Classic 8, Mac OS Mojave)

Cheers.

[Edit] This has also revealed another issue. I decided to batch update a year or two's worth of images to the latest Process Version (5) which id did. Now for the affected cameras I want to revert to Process Version 4, but if I either try to save it as a default setting for the camera, or apply it to a Preset, Lightroom will not apply Version 4 to a batch of images, they all stick at Version 5.

The only way to do it that does work is to Copy/paste Settings.

I also see a definite colour shift using the dehaze in process version 5 - NEF with Camera Standard profile set.

Hi,

I can observe the same problem with images from a Fuji X-Pro1 when applying camera profiles (any of them). Sample RAW file available here : https://www.dropbox.com/s/escohl7sin27cf6/Arsenal_001.RAF?dl=0 . Ditto with a Fuji X-E1. I could not reproduce with CR2 files from a Canon EOS 5D and 5D Mark II.

I get the same with an old Fuji X-S1 RAF image too. The Nikon and Fuji are the only cameras I have that have their own Camera profiles, the rest use Adobe ones.

Same problem with CR2 files from a Canon 7D Mark II.

Using Dehaze with process version 4 works as expected regardless of profile.
Using Dehaze with process version 5 works as expected when using the Adobe Color profile.
Using Dehaze with process version 5 produces an unnatural green shift when using the Camera Standard profile.

I'm having the same problem and can also confirm that creating a new Default setting doesn't include the process version, and that it isn't possible to create a preset that switches the process version.
