Lightroom: Ability to use variables in Lightroom for export paths

It's great to be able to use variables for renaming in exports, but would be great to have more flexibility here to also use them in the export paths

For instance, I'd like to be able to export to a subfolder somewhere that has a folder name that is based on the IPTC Job Identifier, or matches the original source folder of the images. (and if images are from multiple folders, that would create multiple matching folders on export.)

This reply was created from a merged topic originally titled Template {Date (Month DD, YYYY) »} for watermarks.

In Lightroom I can program the file name by using special inserts for template {Date (Month DD, YYYY) »}. I propose to implement this feature for watermarks in later versions?
