Photoshop: Installing and using CS6 within a non-admin user account

Hello, I've just installed PhotoShop 6 on 20 of our college iMacs. We have a volume license account so this individual account signin is useless, but that's not the issue. Mac OSX, we have restricted use of files for students, they are allowed to run applications. Allowed access to Adobe Photoshop CS6. Software opens, but then gets message not allowed to run application adobe_licutil. What/where is that so we can modify our security settings to allow this to operate? I'm hoping this is an ok place to post this question. I can't seem to get access to any other Photoshop forums on this site!

I did some cursory research. It sounds like the parental control settings in 10.6.8 cause this problem, but the exact same settings in 10.7.5 do not - so it sounds like Apple has changed the way this works because of problems with the settings in 10.6.8. Are you indeed running 10.6.8?

Hi. Thanks for your message. Yes, we're running 10.6.8

It's currently on 20 machines. We have another 20+ to do but won't be getting them until we can fix the current problem.

Do you by chance have access to 10.7.x to test your same settings with CS6?

Unfortunately not. Some of our software won't run on 10.7 either.
