Photoshop/Lightroom: Using Lens Corrections to correct geometric distortion

I have two questions about Lens corrections:

(1) I want to use both the Profile to correct lens distortion and Manual to correct geometric distortion. Do the two work together?

(2) In Photoshop, you can correct geometric distortion in each corner separately. The "Transform>Vertical" slider in LR seems to operate differently: it works on both top corners at once. Is there a way to apply different corrections to the top corners?

Yes the effects are cumulative, so you can use a profile and the manual controls together.

And no you can't apply different corrections to the different corners. There's a related feature request which you might be interested in at http://feedback.photoshop.com/photosh...
