Hi Jeffrey. I was having a similar problem w/ CS6 after Sierra 'upgrade'. Tried the 13.0.6 patch but got message: Updates could not be applied. This patch is not applicable for you.
Do you happen to have any more info on this?
Thanks!

This is a known issue that will fixed by a future update. You can follow this thread for details when that is available: https://feedback.photoshop.com/photoshop_family/topics/photoshop-cc-15-5-1-not-printing-in-os-x-10-1...

I tried updating to 13.0.6 like you suggested...but I get this error:
Adobe Photoshop 13.0.6
Installation failed. Error Code: U44M2P7

MY problem is simple.....I just open an image, then close the image and PS will crash. But this only happens when the image is in "FLOATING" mode. If I have the image in TAB mode, it will not crash.

Here is the message I get after the crash (any suggestions?):

Unfortunately not for me.... Every time I print with Photoshop CS6 it crashes and unfortunately having gone through our above fix, nothing has changed.

I am running a MacBook Pro late 2013 with Sierra.

I read a thread at the beginning of the week (which I now can't find....) which purported to provide a solution by deleting AdobePhotoshopCS6Prefs.psp file.  This sometimes works but only for one print...

Any thoughts anyone?

That's a different known issue that's being worked on. Stay tuned for details on this thread that you're already on: Photoshop CC 2015.5.1: Not printing in macOS 10.12 Sierra

Look at relevant file associations - i.e. right click a file icon (jpeg, tif, psd etc) and check in "file info" that "open with" is set to photoshop. It could be that the file association has been changed to "preview" when Upgrading to Sierra. I found this yesterday and changed all print files to "photoshop" and it seemed to have cleared the problem.

Thank you, that fixed the problem Kirk and the other gentleman who supplied the links. Now my Adobe Photoshop CS6 runs without having crashes when I close images out. Still, Adobe and Apple need to work together better. I don't want to pay a monthly fee from the creative cloud when Photoshop CS6 does everything a photographer needs.
