It's supported with current versions of macOS:

Although, your hardware needs to meet the Sidecar system requirements.  For example, a MacBook Pro needs to be a 2016 model or newer and the iPad needs to 3rd generation or newer.

If older hardware or older versions of macOS are being used, Duet works pretty well.

Of course, you can always just send PNG files to the device and view them full screen.  It's not live, but it works.

And...

Are you developing for sRGB and P3 Wide Gamut or just sRGB?

Apple's Sidecar turns your iPad or iPhone into an extended part of your desktop.  You might find it helpful to open a new view of your PS document and then put that in full-screen mode on the iPad or iPhone.  That way, you can work with the document on your main screen while seeing the results immediately on the device.

Adobe XD should work, it just won't be live while you're working in Photoshop.

If you find a good option for Windows to use your Android device as part of your Desktop, please be sure to report back.
