Using ALT when adjusting levels no longer works in 2020

This has worked for years but seems to have been removed or a possible bug in 2020.  Holding the ALT key when adjusting the levels would give you a solid black/white view which is needed to make sure you make everything solid that needs to be.  I did find an alternate way by going to Layers/New Adjustment Layer but it makes something so basic into something much more in depth.  Was this ability removed or is it a bug?

I've just tested and I can confirm. If using the Level Adjustment through the Adjustment Panel, holding ALT key when adjusting levels does not give a solid black/white view.

I've had a habit of using adjustments via the Layers panel so did not notice this bug. Holding ALT key works when adjusting levels through the Layers, Create Adjustment Layer.
