PHOTOSHOP: Using a tool on the canvas brakes all shortcuts on MacOS 10.10 BETA

I am on a Macbook Pro on OSX 10.10, using only the laptop touch pad (no tablet input), and shortcuts are not working correctly. This problem has been persistent and significantly degrades my ability to use the software.

After opening photoshop, if I use shortcuts sequentially, the shortcuts will work. If I use a shortcut to activate a tool, and then use that tool by clicking on the canvas, then the shortcuts stop working and I can't jump over to another tool. To switch tools, I have to click on a tools icon, at which point the shortcuts will start working again until I click on the canvas. When the shortcuts are broke, all shortcuts are broke, including ⌘S and the like.

In illustrator, shortcuts work as expected.

Please report problems with Apple's BETA OS version to Apple, so they can get the information they need to fix the OS bugs before release.
