User Interface Is Non-Responsive

Many aspects of Lightroom's user interface are non-responsive on my PC (Windows 10). This is in version 3.3.

For example, when I attempt to expand the "By Date" and "Recently Added" panels under "My Photos" on the left side of the screen, the caret changes direction but nothing appears below it. Another example: When I click the cloud icon on the top right side of the screen, the modal showing the syncing status never appears.

Things I've tried:
  • Restarting the application
  • Restarting my computer
  • Re-installing the application
This problem began tonight after I uploaded some images. After uploading, I updated some of the images' metadata. I then tried to change a timestamp on one of the photos, but clicking on the pencil icon to edit the timestamp did nothing. Lightroom hasn't worked properly since.

Also, after attempting to change a timestamp, I can on longer click anywhere in Lightroom, and I have to close Lightroom using Task Manager.

One last thing: Sometimes the application launch screen (with the credits and copyright) never disappears when I launch the application.

Does anyone have any insight into what the problem could be? Thanks!

A daft question no doubt, but have you restarted the computer?

I have tried that. The problem persists after restarting the application, restarting my computer, and re-installing the application.

Did you recently update to 2004 edition of Windows 10?

I opened Lightroom tonight, and everything seems to be working normally now. I have no idea what changed, or why it hadn't worked last night and this morning. I haven't changed anything or done anything differently.

Thanks for your help. I apologize for raising the alarm for what has turned out to be no reason.
