Lightroom mobile: How can I use Lightroom Mobile as the default camera app on Android?

Lightroom Mobile has the ability to capture photos but it is not implemented like a camera app. This makes it very cumbersome to use.To take a photo with LR I have to turn on my screen, unlock the phone, browse to the LR Mobile app, start it and then tap on the camera icon. If I want to take a photo with any app that is implemented as a camera app I only have to double tap the power button and am ready to take a picture.LR Mobile Android should implement the camera intents to turn it into a real camera app, which are android.media.action.IMAGE_CAPTURE and android.media.action.IMAGE_CAPTURE_SECURE

It's a little easier on my iPhone 7 Plus. I tap the home button, swipe right, choose the camera and I'm ready to go. This can be set up somewhere in the preferences if I recall correctly.

But that is on iOS, not Android. Different OS, different implementation.

On a side note, I have found the HDR feature in Lightroom Mobile to be the very best camera app available. The photos that I have gotten from it rival that of my DSLRs. Plus being able to make adjustments to the raw file right there in LIghtroom is killer. In fact it is the ONLY reason I still have Lightroom mobile on my phone.

If you have a phone with a fingerprint login in, it just a tap and there are two ways you can use it to activate the camera.
1. Long tap on the app and choose either Selfie or Lightroom Camera. (three taps from sleep mode).
2. Add in the Lightroom widget. (two taps from sleep mode).
