Lightroom Classic: Uploading Web Galleries error.

I'm on the phone with a support person for the 3rd time in 2 days trying to figure out why I can't upload a web gallery from Lightroom Classic to my ftp server. A folder get's created on the server but not all the images make it and when I try to access it through my server to look at it the layout is all messed up and you can see that images are missing. And Lightroom gives me an error message that the upload failed. I've been at this for 2 days trying every variable I can think of. It seems to be related to how many files I try to include in the gallery. 180 sized and compressed for web files. Maybe it's timing out at some point. I could understand that except that this was never an issue. I am stumped.

If you try with a smaller group of images - say 10 does that complete the upload?

Hi Rikk
Yes. It's a total of 180 files each about 205k in size. I was able to upload the gallery in smaller chunks but not always. I'd actually tried 90 files with an alternate template. Somewhere along the way I tried it with 60 files with the Classic template and it wouldn't load. It's not consistent. But a smaller batch of 10 images is no propblem.

That sounds like a time-out issue with either your web host or your ISP.  You might double check to see if they've changed their FTP processes recently and reconfirm the appropriate settings you are using in your FTP dialog.

Pretty sure the FTP dialogue is all good. I'm on the phone with my ISP now.

At the moment everything seems to point to my web host, Netfirms. Adobe would certainly suggest that.  :)    I've tried 2 computers. I've tried an older Bridge app. I've tried the latest Lightroom Classic. None of them are working. Netfirms has moved my issue up the chain and say they'll get back to me with in 24 hours !   Aaaaaargh. Well that has left me time to check out some recent Netfirms reviews. They aren't good. Maybe time to try a different host.

Try using a dedicated ftp client (Cyberduck, Filezilla, and cURL are free) for testing.
