Lightroom for mobile: Uploading is very slow

I have imported a batch of pictures OK. But uploading them to the cloud is taking ages!
I'm not talking huge numbers here. Less than 100 pictures. And I'm at home with a relatively fast internet connection.

It seems to get stuck on a number for absolutely ages. Then when I check later it's reduced slightly. But the overall speed falls way below what I'd expect.

There doesn't appear to be anything I can do to see what it is up to or what pictures aren't sync'ed either.

Had the same issue... you should try to measure it. You could do it with activity monitor or task manager and compare with a Speedtest. You could also search for my post as I already reported this issue

Which device are you using?
I assume you are connecting via WiFi instead of cellular?
If you force quit the app and restart it does the sync speed improve temporarily or does it still plod along slowly?

I was using a Google Pixel XL (v1) but have recently upgraded to a Huawei P30 Pro.
I'm using WIFI and it's a relatively fast package.

I noticed the upload speeds were much faster on the new device which was good but confusing. But I've done some further testing and my conclusion is that the speed problem only occurs for RAW files and not not JPG pictures.

So I currently believe there is a significant performance issue uploading RAW fiels from Android devices.

I had an extremely slow upload last week at a small hotel at the Danube Delta. Pictures would take ages (and I had to upload 3000 alltogether!!!) two days later at a modern Hotel in the town of Tulcea no problem whatsoever. So, to a large extend, the problem doesn't appear to be LR but the connection
