Uploaded photos not showing up in Revel

I have uploaded six photos to Revel today and only three are visible. The settings say I've done six and when I try to upload the other three again I'm told they are duplicates. Why can I not see them?

I love Photoshop.com. Revel is very disappointing so far. It seems to have potential but it's too buggy and lacks features right now.

Since it uploaded 6 and you only see 3, there may be an issue. Are you on an ipad, mac, pc, or iphone? I believe the photos are all there, but you are unable to see the other 3. If they were not there then it would not say duplicates. I will take a look from our side and see if I can figure out how to get them to show up. No need to try uploading them again. I'll get back to you as soon as I research your account and the files. Hang in there.

There are many upgrades coming for Revel. I know some of the users who have transitioned are disappointed that the features are not the same. Since Revel is not intended to be a replacement for Photoshop.com, it has a slightly different focus. We are trying to add new features to make Photoshop.com users feel more at home, but we are not quite there yet. Please bear with us as we try to make Revel all it can be.

The upload was done from a Mac. I cannot see the photos on my other Mac, iPhone, or via the Revel website.

On the mac, if you go to the library and click on the round dot by the name of the library, what does it say? What color is the dot? Do you see any status in the bottom left corner or any indication in the middle of the screen that there is any uploading, downloading, or importing happening? Have you looked in both libraries? You seem to have both a Joe's library and a Joseph's library.

The dot is green and says "Joe's Library - Connected" and "Everything is up-to-date"

Joesph,
I thought I would follow up with you to see if you can view your images in Revel yet? If not please let me know as we will investigate this further for you
Thanks
Scott

No they still do not show up.

I uploaded six photos that day. The first four were done in a mass upload and the dialog box stated previews were being uploaded for four photos and such but only one photo/preview ever became visible. I uploaded the next two individually due to this and they uploaded without issue. Revel will not allow me to upload the missing photos again because it says they already exist.

Joesph,
Do you have many images uploaded to Revel or is just a few?
Since you still are not seeing your images, deleting Revel and installing as it would clear the app cache

Open the Applications folder, and drag Adobe Revel to the trash.
Delete the Adobe Revel application cache. From the Finder, choose Go > Go To Folder (Shift + Cmd + G), and enter the following in the Go To Folder dialog box: ~/Library/Containers/
Select the folder named com.adobe.Carousel.mac and drag it to the trash.

If you don't want to preserve the Adobe Revel Library in your Pictures folder, or you are certain that you have the original photos stored safely elsewhere, drag the Adobe Revel Library.rvl to the trash. This file in on your startup drive at /Users//Pictures/Adobe Revel/Adobe Revel Library.rvl. To find the file easily, choose File > Find in the Finder, and enter the filename in the search dialog box.
Revel filters out duplicates based on file byte comparisons (aka. hashing or checksumming). Revel will not filter images that are edited copies of originals.

Revel doesn't look at file names when determining whether images are duplicates, but considers the binary contents of the files. If the file contents are exactly the same, then Revel flags them as duplicates regardless of filename and other properties.
When there are two photos with the same pixel data--but one has some metadata added, or is of a different file format, then images are not considered as being duplicates.

Albums should transfer, though the organizational structure will flatten (Revel doesn't current supported nested albums, aka subfolders)

Thanks
Scott

I did all that. Same result. Revel still says the photos are already uploaded.
