My video upload was successful but it still says processing to reformat the video so it will be visible on my browser. As I have not had this problem before I wonder if the processing at photoshop has a temporary delay problem.

Hi Amreek,
I just checked my library of uploaded videos and those that were stuck on processing still seem to be stuck on processing. Do you think I should try uploading the video(s) again, possibly with a different name?

I'll look again later in case the system needs more time to catch up with a possible backup of other videos that might be stuck on processing.

Thanks for the note. I feel good that someone got back to me on this issue. I hope it will be resolved soon. Have a great day! - John

Hi Amreek,

I tried again with another short video about 7 hours after you indicated that the video processing is back to normal. The same situation appears:
The video indicates upload successful, the symbol such as next to your employee name appears, I am able to click on share the video to my e-mail address but when I get my e-mail there is no image that is typically in the e-mail for the particular video, and the video library area still shows "processing". Any additional suggestions?

Hi again,

I just got success in having the most recent successfully uploaded video mentioned above shared to my own e-mail with the photo associated with the video and the video is shown playing.
Next, I went back to my library of videos to check on the previously successfully uploaded videos and found that they were still "processing" and by moving the cursor I saw the message that said,
"The video is being converted into a format that can be played in your browser."
I'll check back and probably delete the videos stuck on "processing" and try reuploading them. - Partially happy with the partial success. - John

Hi Amreek and Any Other Users of Photoshop.com,

If you've been following the progression of my "Upload successful but processing seems stuck" situation, I am happy to report that I tried uploading again one of the previous videos stuck on processing to a new album. This was successful.

The same video submitted earlier to another album name is still stuck on processing, but now I can just delete that old album. I was pleased to find out that the video processing for newly uploaded videos seems to be back to normal.

Hi John

We had a server issue that's now resolved. Any videos that were uploaded during this period which still say "processing" unfortunately can't be processed. You will have to upload them again to see the videos play back. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Is the processing of uploaded videos presently down as two short 5 mb videos that were uploaded in the last day still say processing?

Typically, my uploaded mp4 videos created with Adobe Premiere Elements 9 are easily uploaded and then take a short time "processing" for viewing. Two short videos now seem stuck on processing at photoshopcom. Is your system currently having delays processing uploaded videos?

Situation resolved. The re-uploaded videos processed correctly and I have deleted the previous editions of the videos that were still stuck on processing.

I'm pleased that I found this avenue for getting assistance with a problem, especially one that may have been on the photoshop end. Before finding this way to discuss a concern, I called to report the issue but was offered telephone assistance if I paid for it. I mentioned that I was trying to alert photoshop of a problem I suspected that they were having (and I told the person I would not charge for my assistance), but I had no success with my attempts at phone contact.

Situation now resolved. Thank you to Amreek and Charlie D. (employees) for following up on my concern through community powered support.

Have a good day, and, may all of our problems be so small.

Hi Scott,
I contacted Charlie D. on 10/1/12 about the "video stuck on processing problem" that occurred again and he indicated that there is a system problem being investigated. I was advised to wait and he indicated he would forward my concern to another representative. When this happened a month ago the problem was resolved at photoshop.com and when I tried uploading a smaller video a day or two later, it worked fine. I then retried uploading the original stuck video to a new folder and it then worked fine. The original stuck video remained stuck on processing and needed to be deleted later. I hope this comment is helpful. - John

I tried uploading and viewing still images. That is still working for me. It is the video upload that is stuck on processing. I will continue to check back.

Hello,

These temporary slowness occurs when there is a surge in the no of videos being uploaded to photoshop.com.

In case your video is not processed even after several hours follow these steps to delete them and then try re uploading them
1. Login to Photoshop.com and go to Me>My Library
2. Create a new Album.
3. Add all the “Processing..” videos to this Album (Drag and Drop them onto this album)
4. Delete this Album and Select the checkbox ‘Also permanently delete all items in this album from my library’
5. Re-upload the videos.

Amreek's advice is good for videos that never process correctly. However, the current situation is that our video processing servers got stuck. This is now fixed, and we're still processing a mountain of videos uploaded over the weekend.

My advice is to wait. Check back tonight or tomorrow. Deleting and re-uploading your videos will simply put you further back in the queue.
