If you are talking about uploading from the Web Module than I just upload some photos using the Web Module and it worked fine in Lr 8.1 and MacOS 10.13.6.

Please give us a little more info on the server and your settings, except the password.

Try putting buitensportsoest.nl in the SERVER box and only public_html in The SERVER PATH box.  That is the way mine is set up.

You might be able to leave the server numbers in the SERVER but I think the domain name should not be in the SERVER PATH.

This is just a guess on my part as I remember I had to change a few things from my FTP program to the Lightroom FTP settings to get it to work.

Jan,
Was this working before?
Instead of adding the "server path" manually, could you please click the Browse option and see if you get the path listed by Lightroom Classic?
It should ideally list if there is no connection issues.

Thanks,
Sunil

It was not working before, this the first time I use the WEB function.

Also I am used to upload files with Filezilla and this works great.

In Filezilla I let the portnumber blanc but this is impossible with Lightroom.

The connection also fails if I use the browse function of the settings.

With trial and error. I've found the problem: I have to select 'Uitgebreid passief' (Extended Passive ' and port number 21 and FTP)

Thanbk you all for the help

I see this is marked as 'not a problem' but it is a problem ... of poor documentation ...

I'm on the phone with a support person for the 3rd time in 2 days trying to figure out why I can't upload a web gallery from Lightroom Classic to my ftp server. A folder get's created on the server but not all the images make it and when I try to access it through my server to look at it the layout is all messed up and you can see that images are missing. And Lightroom gives me an error message that the upload failed. I've been at this for 2 days trying every variable I can think of. It seems to be related to how many files I try to include in the gallery. Maybe it's timing out at some point. I could understand the except that this was neve an issue.  I created a web gallery exactly like this 2 weeks ago with much more data/files and it worked fine. I am stumped.
