Upgraded catalog from LR3 to LR4, photos missing in some views

Upgraded 4 catalogs, in one of them 'all photographs' view doesn't show any photos but the text 'click import button to start'.

Using some of the filters (like rating or labels) in the same view show photos. They are all also visible in collections and folders so photos seem to be in the DB.

Win7 64-bit, LR4 also 64-bit

A filter still active or a corrupt catalog? Other catalogs I upgraded are OK.

had the same problem, but I found out:
go to develop, click in the menu underneath of the picture or toolbar, you will see all the recent sources of your imported pictures, and you select , whatever you want to see

You probably mean that in the filmstrip panel (the bottom one) I can select the collections, folders etc. recently used? This indeed makes the photos visible but the same can be done in the left panel, which I tried. Still when in the left panel I select Catalog-All photographs, no photos show up.

The same happens in Folders when selecting the parent folder where I have most of the photos: 'no photo selected'. Clicking one of the subfolders shows the photos allright. In the corresponding catalog in LR3 and in the other LR3-to-LR4 upgraded catalog all the photos in any folder and in 'All Photographs' view are shown correctly.

I made a further test importing a folder with 8000+ photos and the same happened: no photos selected.

It all looks to me like if I erraneously still have a filter active somewehere or then it is a bug.
