Photoshop Upgrade Policy fiasco

I upgraded to CS 5 before the December deadline now you are asking me to pay a further upgrade fee to upgrade to CS6 when if I had waited I would have only had to pay one upgrade fee . I feel let down by Adobe (I have been using a registered product since photos hoop came on floppy disks 3 I think) A lot of people are in this situation and noAdobe a free copy of lightroom won't shut me up. Oh and I was only following what Adobe said about their upgrade policy only for them to change their mind a month later .

I agree completely with this. I would not have upgraded in December if Adobe had not indicated that this was the last chance to upgrade from CS3. They then changed their policy but only after their publicised campaign to get us to upgrade. Although I haven't always updated Photoshop over the years, I have been a customer since Photoshop4 and also of Lightroom which I have upgraded every edition. While they are entitled to change their upgrade policy, I do think that they need to be honest and consistent and not mislead customers. I guess I will stick with Lightroom as I like it but the sour taste this leaves has certainly left me doubting my commitment to Adobe.

Hey guys,

John posted additional details about this in January. I'll have someone from customer care contact you to address your questions/concerns.

I'm checking on this. They would have sent communication to the gmail account you used to sign into this site.
