Lightroom: 3.6 Release Candidate: Updating Metadata for Capture Time

I have installed Lightroom 3.6 Release candidate and have tried to update the metadata for the time of capture. I select a group of photos and apply changes (in my case +12 hours) and apply the changes. Lightroom appears to do this but when I check the metadata there has been no change. For the travel trips where you forget to reset the clock on your camera, this is a neat solution (if it worked). Am I doing anything wrong?

When you say that you "check the metadata", how are you doing that? In LR's Metadata pane, or with a third-party program? If the latter, are you ensuring that metadata has been written back to the files with Save Metadata To File?

Thank you. I changed catalog settings to "write data or time changes to raw files" and used "save metadata to file". Problem fixed. I really appreciate your feedback.
