I have thousands of photos. Is there anyway to update the selected ones to the current process. I have tried in Develop in the grid, but it does not take. I have to update every single one, ONE AT A TIME. very time consuming.

There are several ways, here is one:

Multiselect some photos in the Thumbnail bar along the bottom.
Set PV2012 on the current photo.
Click Sync.
Uncheck all checkboxes.
Check the Process Version checkbox.
Click Ok.

Be careful updating the PV of old photos that you've already adjusted, because they'll look different afterwards.

I have this problem with old photos, what do I do? Just go through and reprocess?

Just don't do this, unless these have never been processed before (i.e, you have no tweaked them to your liking already.) The process change should be considered on a case by case basic.

In a few cases I've updated the process to a group of photos taken under similar lighting conditions.
