Since the last month I cannot use my CC on my desktop. This updating\housekeeping message appears and nothing happens... it is frozen! No sync with my mobile devices.
Any help, please?

Greetings Jose,

Can you go to Help>System Info... and get us your installed Lightroom Version Number and what OS you are currently using?

A Preference File will survive a Lightroom uninstall/reinstall. Sometimes weird behavior is corrected/cured by resetting the preferences.

Reset Procedure:

1. Close Lightroom.
2. Hold down [Alt/Opt]+[Shift] while restarting Lightroom.
3. Overwrite the Preferences when prompted by the dialog.
4. Close Lightroom.
5. Restart Lightroom.

Does the application complete the launch after resetting the preferences?

Hi, I have the same problem as Jose. Tried all steps you've suggested, Rikk, with no change.

If you leave Lightroom sit for 30 minutes does it finally respond?

Also struggling with this. Uninstalled/reinstalled multiple times. Have let it sit to see if it eventually loads, nothing.

For those of you on this thread:

Did the problem occur when you last updated Lightroom CC or was it happening prior to updating to version 2.2?
If you turn off your firewall, does the program work normally?

It was after updating. And no, leaving it for half a hour did nothing to change it.
