Is Elements crashing or your Photoshop CS5? If Elements, what version of Elements do you have installed?

What version of macOS are you running? What does the text of the crash log say?

i am using photoshop elements 14. i updated last week and now it acts like its going to open, which i have set to open in editor and it brings the page up for about 3 seconds and then closes. i am running MacOS Sierra 10.12.3 my mac is an early 2011 processor 2 ghz intel core i7. i have try to run elements even off my extra external hard drive and it doesnt work. I am a photographer and need my photoshop. my mac still runs great so im not going out to buy a new computer any time soon.
