Photoshop CS6 and CC refuse to update for me, and have since the day I signed on to CC. Support has taken control of my machine several times and been unable to help. The last time they did this, the guy guaranteed me that if I created a new ADMIN account on my machine I could get updates by logging into that account. As usual, support was wrong. If I download an updater directly (via a link from support for CC or via the website for CS 6) when I try to install I get a message that says install failed because the update doesn't apply to me. If I do a Check for updates from the help menu it tells me I am up to date when I am not. Deleting the files they tell me to delete in the Application Support folders doesn't help. I am at a loss, and the support people are useless. Actually, I think they may have messed something up when they managed to crash my machine, but uninstalling, running the cleaner app and reinstalling doesn't help either. Running Mavericks with 16 gigs of RAM on a Mac. I can't find a way around the lower level support people who clearly are unable to help in any way. I pay for this stuff, and I want what I am paying for.
