I have spent hours trying to upload my album to photoshop.com. I tried to send it to my hard drive. That also failed. I have done everything that I can think of doing - many times. I am extremely frustrated. I have the book "the missing manual" and cannot solve this problem. Any help would be appreciated.

Have you been able to upload any files and are not able to upload any more or is this your first attempt at uploading?

What method are you using to send the Album to your hard drive? What happens when you try? Error message?

Hi Linda,

Have you tried uploading to photoshop.com manually?
Meaning, open 'http://www.photoshop.com/' in your browser. Log in to your photoshop.com account and try to upload some images there manually.

While exporting to hard drive, is EO showing the album preview?

I have the same problem. I select the album and click the share button, follow the steps (I have tried selecting share to photoshop.com and display in my gallery) I put in my e-mail address as a test, and click done. It quickly flashes that it is saving, but nothing happens. I don't get the e-mail, and if I go to photoshop.com, nothing has been uploaded to my account.

What does the Backup/Sync status say? (click the Safe icon in your system try next to the clock, or the one in the Organizer along the bottom near the left side, then choose "View Backup/Synchronization Status")

From the way you describe things, it sounds like you might have multiple accounts and that you files are uploading successfully to a different account. Try signing out of both Photoshop.com and Photoshop Elements, then sign back in to both using the same email address/password.

It keeps loading photos from my home collection...(over 9000 that I have not yet deleted, nor did I transfer them) but still will not show the album I really needed to share.

I'm not sure what you're saying here. Do you mean that you have over 9000 images in your Elements Organizer catalog that have not been organized into an Album and they are uploading fine, but the images you have in an Album are not uploading? If that is so, they you need to check your Backup/Sync settings in Preferences and make sure the Album you want to sync is check and that "Media not in any Album" is unchecked.

The description of this issue fits my situation. I am using PSE 9 and am attempting to share an online album to my gallery. I create the album, select email addresses to notify friends of the album posting, click DONE. I then see a small window open and immediately close, so I cannot view the window contents. I also hear a small horn "toot" sound. I've tried this process many times in an attempt to view the window contents, but it displays and disappears too quickly. Also, the email addresses I enter don't seem to be saved in the PSE 9 contacts list. This is like Groundhog Day the movie, I keep doing the same thing over and over with no progress.
The album never makes it to my gallery and no one receives an email, including me. Frustrating to say the least. I have the PSE 9 for Photographers book by Philip Andrews. This process seems fairly simple, but no albums appear on my photoshop.com gallery. I do have another album in the gallery from 2012.
I tried to set Backup/Sync preferences, but that dialog states there is an error in setting Backup/Sync preferences. No help there either. Cannot figure this out. Need assistance please.

This may explain what is going on and get you out of Groundhog day!

We recently notified you that the Photoshop.com storage and sharing service is being discontinued and unless you opt out, your jpg files will be moving to Adobe Revel. After the jpg files are migrated to Revel. You can still access your library and account via the web site at www.photoshop.com until 6/18/13 . If your photos have already moved to Adobe Revel, you can no longer upload to Photoshop.com. You can start using Revel now at www.AdobeRevel.com or by downloading the iOS mobile apps. The ability to upload directly to Revel will be available in the next iOS version of Photoshop Express.

You can not transfer your photos directly from Photoshop Elements9 to Revel, so if you edit in Elements 9 , you can save to your hard drive and then upload to Revel. If you want to be able to upload and download from Elements to/from Revel, you will need to upgrade to Elements11. It does not "sync" like older versions did with Photoshop.com, but it does upload/download. You can also upload/download directly from your computer. If you don't have a Mac, iPhone, or iPad, you can still login to adoberevel.com on your pc. You just won't be able to edit photos there. We do have plans to release Revel for Windows and Android in the future but don’t have specific timing for their release yet.

In Revel, you can share weblinks to your albums with friends.
