Hello,

I am a technical supporter of Aurigma company (http://aurigma.com). We have an user who reported about the following issue. He has two TIFF images: firs one has been saved via Photoshop CS3, second file - via Photoshop CS5. So, the user uses our SDK to read IPTC metadata, which he has set via PS CS3 and PH CS5 for the TIFFs.

Getting IPTC of PS CS3 images is fine. He gets it. However, he cannot get IPTC of PS CS5 image. There is null in the IPTC fields. I replicated this situation in our lab.

According this, I would like to know why it happens? I need it to define where is a bug? :)

Looking forward to your reply.

Best regards,

Which field?
And are you sure this isn't a problem in your parser, since all other IPTC parsing software reads it without problems? (even inside Adobe, we don't use a single parser, we cross check with multiple independent implementations)
