PSE 6 takes up over a gig of space on my PC. I can't uninstall it because it says I need a disk to do so. I don't have a disk. I need the space to install PSE 9. How can I accomplish this uninstall.?

Download cleanup script from the following page depending on your OS:
http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/...

The scripts are present at the bottom of the page.
Instructions to use them are also present on the page.

Once the application is cleaned up by the scripts, you can delete the application folder present at %programfiles%/adobe/

Well, I spent two hours using the instructions to rid my computer of over 1.7 Gigs taken up by Photoshop 6, for which I no longer have the required.disk. The instructions were for uninstalling the CS series, not pse6. What a waste of time!

Hi Irene,

When you select CS3 from the dropdown, you'll see an entry of Photoshop Elements 6 entry in the dialog.

If the entry is not shown, it'll mean that PSE6 had already been uninstalled.
In that case, you just need to clear the application folders.

BTW what is your OS?
