Lightroom: Unified Experience Across Platforms

The Lightroom CC experience is different across platforms. The web version has some features, the desktop version has others, iPad lacks this or that. Why is it not consistent across all? I don't want to have to go to the desktop version to edit dates or load presets, then to the web version to downloads video then to the iPad version to segment photos. Everything needs to be available on all platforms and it needs to be consistent. For me, I want to do all my Lightroom CC work on my iPad and its annoying I can't.

Hi Brad, no doubt Adobe will respond better than I, but are you sure you want what you are asking for.   The consequence of demanding parity across all platforms must be that features which are built and ready to ship on (say) Mobile App, will have to be shelved waiting until the same features are ready to ship on the Web version.
Personally I support Adobe's current approach of shipping on each platform as soon as a feature is ready and tested

I don't see why anything would have to be shelved. They should be working on similar features on all platforms at the same time and aiming to have them released at the same time.

Different teams take charge of different new features to keep them all moving forward at a good pace, and some features are more doable on some platforms than others. Feature parity is the aim, but they do leapfrog each other.
