I downloaded the trial version of CS6, and when I try to save a photograph after developing it, it says I don't have a Write key. I need to be able to save images. Thank you

Photoshop doesn't have an error message like that.

What is the exact and full error message you receive?
Could it be about write permission to the directory where you're trying to save?

Well I discovered it is something to do with my external hard drive I'm trying to save it to. I can save it just fine to my computer itself.
I just recently got a Macbook pro, I can access files on the external, and even work on them in the Photoshop, but I am just not able to save. I need to be able to save onto my external (Fantom) so that I can keep my folders and files organized.
If you have any idea...I would GREATLY appreciate it! :)
Thank you very much

What kind of disk is your external hard disk? A firewire or estata? After you select File > Save as and select your external disk, what is the error message you received?

It says unable to save image, and then it says I don't have write permissions, but it doesn't tell me what I need to do to make that happen.
I have the Fantom Green Drive 3.
Thank you again. :)
