Camera Raw: Unable to save raw conversion settings in Mac OS Mojave.

Since updating to Mac OS Mojave, Both Bridge 2018 and Bridge 2019 return the "Unable to save raw conversion settings" error after editing images in the Camera Raw plug-in. I've checked permissions (and re-run Disk first aid) on both my internal and my external hard drives. Not the issue. I've rest the Adobe Camera Raw cache location to both internal and external drives, restarted, and no help.

Ideas?

Here's a clue to Adobe engineers:
Going to the "Camera RAW Preferences" and changing the "Update embedded JPEG previews" from Medium to Full, or inversely, Full to Medium temporarily solves the issue.

How do you store the develop settings (Camera Raw preferences)? As XMP files or in the Camera Raw database? If it is the latter, then perhaps Camera Raw does not have privileges for the folder where this database is located.

As the Camera Raw database.
• I've reset permissions (see original post);
• The problems recurs if the database is stored externally or internally;
• Changing the preview from Medium to Full, or vice versa recovers usage.

Changing the Camera RAW prefs to "Save image settings in: Camera Raw Database" or "Sidecar .'xmp' files" makes no difference. The error recurs.

This error is nearly instantaneous when batch processing from Bridge (Right-click on multiple images: Develop Settings...) —OR— from within ACR in Multi-image mode (Multiple images opened) and batch processed. Usually with the latter, a crash ensues.

If I turn off the Camera RAW preference "Update embedded JPEG previews:" I get no errors at all, of course. What's up?

So, the error occurs in both High Sierra AND Mojave.
I skipped from El Capitan straight to Mojave before I encountered the bug.
