I have been getting intermittent faults with the same message over the last 2 or 3 days. There does not appear to be a problem at my end, as waiting a few moments/minutes gets me connected. I read the article referred to and get success messages. I have an empty hosts file. The problem seems to be at your end

Colin, Is this new/specific for you with the 2019 versions that were just released?

Sorry I've just spotted that the original post is very old.

But yes, this is new to the latest edition of Photoshop but I cannot remember what I was doing at the time. It has also occurred more often when trying to log into adobe.com.

I use a password manager, so operator error is hopefully pretty unlikely, and although each time, I tried several times to re-connect and failed, trying again in approx. 5 mins has always got me in.
