I recently upgraded to Windows 10. I have the latest version of Windows 10 and the latest version of Lightroom CC. I am no longer able to drag photos into different collections. I use this as part of workflow especially for large events like weddings to make the editing process more manageable. When I go to drag the photos, nothing happens. This worked fine prior to Windows 10 upgrade.  As a work around, I am able to select the photos, then right-click on the collection and add the photos that way. Not as smooth of an experience but it shows that the photos can move between the collections.

HELP!!

First, double-check that you're dragging from the center of the thumbnails, not from the grey borders.  Assuming you're already doing that, try resetting LR's preferences: http://www.lightroomforums.net/showthread.php?25197-Resetting-the-lightroom-preferences-file-updated . This often fixes things when LR's user interface goes wonky.

Thank you. Resetting the preferences fixed the problem.

Great, glad it was that simple.
