In short, the floating options bar simply will not dock as it has in prior versions. It's been floating since CC 2015 uploaded into my machine.

Hi Matt,

What OS are you running?  When you say Options Bar, you are referring to the bar directly below the Command Menu (File, Edit, Image, Layer), right?  The one with the Tool Preset as the first icon on the left?

Thanks,
David

David, yes. OS is Windows 7. I've attached a screenshot showing the menu being dragged to a position that ordinarily would activate the blue highlight between elements denoting "you can drop / dock this here". I also was reminded this morning that I'm getting a "Generator Error" message rather frequently with this new install. Don't know if that's in any way related.

Hiya Matt,

Did you ever find a solution to this problem?  I've tried many times on Windows and Mac, but I always doc my palettes and Option Bar, even to the point that it docs when I don't want it to.  Perhaps your installation isn't good?  Or there's a problem with another application or driver on your machine?  What Extensions do you have installed?

Thanks,
David
