Revel: Unable to contact the service. Attempting to connect...

Whenever I sign into Revel to download my photos from the photoshop account I once had, I get the following error "Unable to contact the Revel service. Attempting to connect..." I have tried on different computers and got the same error. Also, I have been able to sign into a different Revel account on those computers with success, thus eliminating the probability that the computer is at fault for this error. Please help ASAP as I know the deadline to pull these photos off of Adobe's server is approaching.

Hi Justin ,

You have to use the downloader tool, although you can access the app, it's no longer connecting to the server.
Go to adoberevel.com for details.

It is now saying that I do not have any files. Does that mean all of my photo's are gone? What's going on here. I was able to download using the Revel downloader from a different account. But not this one. Help is greatly appreciated!

Hi Justin

As mentioned and linked to above, the Adobe Revel Downloader will download all the assets available in an account. The actual Revel apps can no longer connect to the server as we continue to close the service down. So the log-in trouble you have with the Revel apps is not unexpected. However the downloader will continue to work.

Using the email you used to sign up for this forum my database tool indicates you don't have any catalogs associated with this email address. Did you sign up for Revel with a different email?
