PHOTOSHOP CS6: Type size bug -- ENDLESS ERROR LOOP

Sometimes, when I type in a value in the font size box (and most often when I then press Tab to advance to the leading box) Photoshop automatically enters a very large value in the font size box and then gives me an error that this is an unsupported type size. I press ok and it opens the error window again. This continues ad infinitum until I force quit the program. I then have to hope that my recovered file is up-to-date.

Howdy Christian,

You're encountering a bug with transformed text which was solved in later release of Photoshop.  The reason why Photoshop is changing the font size is because the application is trying to compensate for a transformation you did.  If you update to the latest version of CS6 (13.0.6 for Mac), the problem should go away and, if you don't deal with heavily transformed text, shouldn't be a problem anyway.

Thanks,
David

Hey guys, thanks for the quick response on this -- I've updated P-shop and I'll see if that doesn't fix it.
