Lightroom: Left Panel expansion option and Book Module cell flexibilities

Hi Lightroom team,
I have two sets of suggestions.

1. To enable to expand the width of the left side window so that I can view the full name of folders (just in the Library module).

It means I can check the full name of a folder when folders are nested a few layers deep.

The ability could be a something that could be switched on in preferences so that ordinarily you can only make it as wide as it currently allows (approx 8cm?). If it could be stretched wider to say 16cm to enable viewing of full folder names, then snapped back to a 'normal max' width of 8cm.

2. Suggested improvements to the Book module.

I have recently produced my 2nd holiday photobook (the printed finished product is fantastic!!), but I found a few frustrating layout restrictions that I felt could be overcome.

Upshots are:
* to have flexible sized cells
* to have movable cells
* to have overlapping cells
* to have the ability to add or delete cells
* enable all the page templates to also be used as cover templates (I wanted to prep a multi photo cover but the template - 6 x 6 - was only available as a page template but not as a cover template. I solved the problem for my book by creating the layout manually in PhotoShop)

Hope these suggestions help

Are you on a Mac? Hold down the Opt key while dragging the edge to stretch it wider.

1. Edit TranslatedStrings.txt file in 2-char lang folder in resources folder in with Lr app file (create file if non-existing).

add lines (or edit if already existing):

restart Lightroom
pull out left panel up to 900 pixels wide.

Remember to copy file over after installing next Lr version (I have a plugin which does it, no surprise..).

PS - Consider using Jeffrey Friedl's online Lr configurator instead of doing by hand.
