Using Photoshop for about 2-3 hours and then it says it stopped running when I tried to print one digital photo file. Restarting computer didn't solve the problem. Also why do I now have to keep going through the license business frequently. Last problem was corrected some time ago.

Which version of Photoshop are you using?
Which OS version are you using?

Did Photoshop crash? If so, what does the detailed crash report say?

First box said "The saved print information is an incompatible version. It has been set to default values."
Second box said "The saved printer information is not compatible with this version of Photoshop, or the saved printer is no longer available. You will need to check your printer settings before printing."
Third box said "Adobe Photoshop CC2014 has stopped working. A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available."
??Can't find anywhere to check my printer settings?? Did recently buy a new printer and removed the program for the old printer.

So it sounds like your new printer driver has problems which are causing Photoshop to crash.

What OS version are you using?
What does the detailed crash report say (from the system event viewer)?

Windows 8.1 is the OS. I'm aware that Xerox doesn't have a Win 8.1 driver YET. However, I did manage to print an image using the Windows directly. Doesn't allow you to make very many adjustments.
