Photoshop: How can I turn off Face Aware Liquify?

There is no way to turn off face aware liquify. I don't edit photos, I paint concept art. I can't adjust my work now because it locks me into the face portion of the liquify tool. I hate to say it, but if there is not an easy work around I will probably be leaving photoshop and I really like the program otherwise. Anyone know of a way to fix this? Can we get a "disable" feature?

Hi Keeley,
Could you please elaborate on how Liquify is locking you into the face portion?
You should be able to click on one of the other tools (Warp, Twirl, Bloat, etc) in the toolbar on the left side of the Liquify dialog.  Is there some issue that you cannot select any of the other tools?

After selecting a tool in Liquify, the next time you re-enter the dialog,  that last-used tool will be selected by default.

Thanks,
Meredith

This does not answer the question at all.  How do you make it so you can 'liquify' only part of the image?  It locks on the face and seems to force you to do smile, eyes, and the rest of the face.  We want to easily know how to do all the face with simple clicks, not be required to do the face how photoshop wants us to.

I think maybe you're using Liquify incorrectly? There's nothing in the UI which locks you onto the face. All you have to do is select the right tool and start brushing...
