Which antivirus software are you using?
Have you updated it recently?

EIther your antivirus software has a false positive on the Elements components, or you may have obtained your software from non-Adobe sources that added malware (pirated versions pretty commonly contain malware).

thank you chris.

i received the "virus" immediately after visiting the adobe site DIRECTLY......i was not using the software...which is NOT pirated.....i was reading some help topics directly on the adobe website. it had nothing to do with using software that was pirated...i was reading the adobe internet site only.

yes, i update my antivirus software about 2 or 3 times DAILY.
my antivirus software is microsoft security essentials, which works perfectly and for years has not presented any problems.
my antispyware software is superantispyware, which works perfectly and for years has not presented any problems.

again, i received that report immediately after reading the HELP sections directly on the ADOBE site.

thank you very much, chris.
