trial ended when no trial begun; purchased program, not CC

I am a registered user of lightroom 6, bought it a month ago. Now I am receiving an email telling me my trial has ended. I never had the trial. I've been a user since LR2. A bug in the registration files? or?

Skip the previous post (I missed an important word in your post, doh!).

If launching the program doesn't say it is a trial, then you're fine.
Most likely the email is an error on on Adobe's part.

If it says it's a trail, or the trial has expired when you run the program -- then something has corrupted or deleted your registration files, and you'll need to re-enter your serial number.

a followup question though...where is my registration status shown in the program?
I do not see my name on the splash screen as being registered, so maybe it's somewhere else?

Under the Help menu there should be an entry saying "sign out (your_email@domain)" that shows your email address/AdobeID.
