Photoshop: Transformation of vector shapes in Photoshop CS6 is confusing

In Photoshop CS6 points that are selected on vector layers are remembered while the document is open. This is really awesome! But this causes one usability problem.
Look at the pictures below:









So, what do you think about it?
I think the whole vector layer should be transformed:



When we turn on the Pen tool again, the remembered points have to be selected again.

This would be much more useful.

Perhaps, there should be a command for select all the points.
This would be a good enough solution.

The selection state is remembered even when the Move tool selected because it is possible to access the vector tools and edit the paths by holding down Command/Ctrl. I can see why this would be annoying, since the paths are not visible without the Command/Ctrl key, but there isn't currently a way around this.

For now, you could always try holding down A to temporarily access the vector selection tools, selecting the paths, and then releasing A to go back to the Move tool.

Path selection tool is a good solution. Maybe that's enough.
